CRANGAN BAY | Estate Playspace
Current Update: May 2026
We’re pleased to share that the playground is really taking shape, with all play equipment now installed and the rubber soft fall completed, creating a safe and vibrant space for children to enjoy. Large feature trees have been planted, bringing the area to life, while upcoming works will see concrete paths, shelters, and shade sails added. Over the coming weeks, turfing and landscaping will complete this exciting new community hub.
We know many eager children are excited to try it out; however, to allow the landscaping to properly establish for everyone’s long-term enjoyment, the area will remain closed until 25th July 2026. Details of an opening event will be shared with the Crangan Bay community soon.

We thank our Crangan Bay residents for their patience with the ongoing construction of the children's playground and play space. After a lengthy process with council in getting our final playground plans approved we are pleased to let you know that they have now been given the green light and are out to tender with our subcontractors. We expect to start the formal civil works later this month, with the final stage being the install of the play equipment.

We are excited to announce that early works of our estate playground have now commenced. Our Crangan Bay landscaping team are busy building the sandstone retaining walls which form foundation for our parkland areas. Walking past you will see a number of sandstone blocks now delivered to site which will form a wall at the lakeside of the park to level our oval area.
Play equipment plans are in final stages of review with council, which we are still remaining positive will start construction this side of Christmas.
Our landscaping team have also continued to plant vegetation to the picnic areas closer to stage 2 which are now taking root and will hopefully establish more now in the spring weather.

Final Plans for our children's play space and picnic area have now been approved by council. We are starting to commence preparations for construction to commence once land registration is reached on our Stage 3 land release. In the meantime, our landscaping team have started landscaping works on the perimeter of our picnic areas which already look great!

The family playground within our estate is a collaboration between our developers at Scape Properties and local Central Coast Council. Since our last update in December, we confirm that our playground plans have now been finalised with Central Coast Council.
We endeavor to have these plans displayed on the billboards in front of the park within the coming weeks and will again provide a copy on here for viewing by our estate residents and prospective buyers.
Construction will commence mid this year and the playground will be complete by end of this year, which will be a terrific asset within the estate.
